NEAUA Highlighter Newsletter

Fall, 2012
The mission of the New England Section of the American Urological Association, Incorporated is to support the New England urological community in providing the highest quality patient care.

Mission Statement adopted by the NEAUA Board of Directors on November 2, 2011

Jeffrey A. Ranta, MD

To say that change is upon American medicine may be one of the few understatements of our current election cycle. The New England Section Team may not have taken home the trophy at the inaugural AUA Residents Bowl this past spring, but there was still a great deal of friendly competition and fun had by all. Photo highlights from the Residents Bowl are available on the AUA Facebook Page.

Be sure to refer to the NEAUA Career Opportunities webpage often. Available positions, including those for surgery, nurses, technicians…etc. may be posted for free by Section members.

NEAUA 2013 Membership Dues Options

It’s almost time for membership dues renewals! Soon you will receive notice about 2013 NEAUA membership dues. The NEAUA offers several payment options, including secure electronic payment, payment via phone, and direct mail. This year the NEAUA will also offer Section members enrollment in an automatic dues renewal program, which allows the NEAUA to keep an encrypted record of your credit card information and charge the applicable membership fees to that card each year when dues renewals are sent to the membership. Participants in the program will receive notice that their card on file will be charged before payment is processed each year. The option to enroll in this program will be available with 2013 dues renewal notices. For additional information on dues payment options, please contact the Section at admin@neaua.org.
